Slipadisk. Slipadisk is a neat way of holding CDs in a specially die-cut sheet of material. The material can be frosted, fluted, or laminated board. The final shape, size and print of the sheet is under the control of the designer. The way it is die-cut requires special attention. Slipadisks hold CDs or DVDs in a single sheet that acts rather like a divider sheet, or to add novelty, as a smaller wraparound folder that is the equivalent of the 'jewel case'. Their shapes can readily be added to pocket folders. Slipadisks are economical, easily customised, popular, and have a precious designer feel. They are used by all types of businesses, from Walt Disney and IBM in USA to BBC in UK. Slipadisk, patent No 2317376 Inventor Les Paine. | ||
