Recycled and recyclable steel made from 30% scrap. Biodegradable over many years. Steel is the most recycled material in the world with a long history of recycling through scrap metal merchants for more than 150 years. It is cheaper to recycle steel than to mine iron ore. In general, recycling accounts for 50% of steel produced. Where a refined surface is required, then there is less of a recycled content. Our quality new metal contains 30% of recycled steel, although steel beams can contain 90%. The material can be embossed, printed and screen etched. The folders are recyclable as steel does not loose its properties. |
