A note for the non technical.

If you have a browser PDF plug-in installed, PDFs will open in your browser window rather than downloading and sitting on your desktop for use at any time.

To ensure download to your computer, even when a browser PDF plug-in is installed, do this:

On a Mac, OPTION (alt) click and choose to save to desktop or where ever you would like it to be. After it is downloaded you can click it to open it at any time.

On a PC, RIGHT click and choose to save to desktop as above.
